Maoist cadre arrested with pistol

Police have arrested one Sunita KC, allegedly a cadre of Unified CPN (Maoist), with a 9mm pistol and its bullets from Chabahil, Sunday evening.

A special police squad deployed on a tip off from the Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu arrested KC from Chuchchepati, Chabahil, at about 6 pm, Sunday. They have recovered a modern 9 mm pistol, its magazine and six rounds of bullets from KC.

A youth, whose identity is yet to ascertained, was also arrested with her. Both of them are detained at the custody of Kathmandu police.
