District level exam suspended in Biratnagar, Dhanusha The district-level exam in Morang district has been affected due to the general shut down imposed in Biratnagar by ruling CPN (UML) affiliated Youth Force on Friday. The exams of eighth grade have been suspended in the district to a later date. "We were compelled to suspend the exams as the agitators warned us of severe consequences if all the educational activities in the district are not stopped during their strike," said Ashok Kumar Kalakheti, chief of the District Education Office, Morang Some 17,478 students of Morang district are appearing in the district level examinations of eighth grade that started on Thursday. Schools and colleges in Biratnagar have been closed since the morning today. Youth Force called for a general shut down in Biratnagar on Friday after two people, including the Force's Morang district president Parashuram Basnet, were hurt in a shooting incident on Thursday evening.
