Dang to see first mid-west ring road Dang will soon boast the first ring road in the Mid-Western Region if construction goes according to plan. According to media reports, the 34-km road will connect 10 out of the 11 wards in Tulsipur Municipality. The municipality expects the ring road to cost Rs. 370 million, said Bharat Kumar Sharma, executive officer, Tulsipur Municipality. He said Rural Infrastructure Development Consultancy, Kathmandu had received the contract and that the feasibility study had been completed. "The study conducted by the consultancy shows that the ring road will touch all the wards in the municipality except Ward No. 7," he added. The ring road, starting from Rajapur at Ward 4, will pass through Peace Garden at Ward 3, Rapti Eye Hospital at Ward 2, Sirkulo at Ward 1, Dandakhuri at Ward 10 and Galaura at Ward 6.
