PM asks state minister Ansari to resign

Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal asked State Minister for Home Affairs Rizwan Ansari to resign from his position on Tuesday, Kantipur daily reported.

The PM asked the only directly elected MP from UML in the incumbent cabinet to resign due to differences between the latter and the home minister.

State minister Ansari has been criticising home minister Bhim Rawal saying he was not given any responsibity of the ministry.

On Saturday, he even threatened to resign within 15 days if law and order situation of the country is not improved. nepalnews.com
